The Kreknorite Armor is the highest tier armor of the mod. It offers great protection, including a set bonus of fire immunity. Kreknorite's theme is control over fire and that's what this armor offers you. Exploring the nether with this armor is extremely ideal since you can swim in lava with no trouble at all. While wearing all the armor and using its set bonus of fire immunity, being in lava does not damage the armor. Regular damage does damage the armor though.
